My interest in hip-hop music appeared somewhere in the late
90's. Back then I was just listening to various artists including
Cypress Hill & Snoop Dogg. Then suddenly around 2001 I
decided to try my self in music too (this was probably because my
dad also was a hobbyist musician back then). As I don't play any
of the classical musical instruments only way to start making
beats was to use computer software. First musical computer
program I seriously used was Reason. I got acquainted with it
very quickly. Then me and a fella from my school recorded a few
tracks together in a year or two and since then it became one of
my major hobbies. Back then and now I produce beats for me and my
friends for free - just for the fun of it. From the middle of 2006
converted from software to hardware production. My studio
centerpiece currently is Roland MV-8800 workstation which was
used to produce and record 9D's first solo album "Sākums"
("Beginning" in English)... nine years so far - more to come... Stay
